Union Bank Apprentice: Union Bank of India has announced the recruitment of 500 Apprentice posts in its various branches across the country. Accordingly online applications are invited. Application submission starts from August 28 and eligible candidates can apply by September 17.
40 Apprentice posts are vacant in Union Bank Karnataka in UBI notification.
Candidates should apply only for the vacancies in their state. UBI Bank has advised the candidates to check the eligibility criteria thoroughly before submitting the application. Candidates need to register on Central Government Apprenticeship portals https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and https://nats.education.gov.in only.
Hard copy of the application and other documents need not be sent to the UBI office, the bank said. Reservation in SC/ST/OBC/PWD etc. Apprenticeship options will be implemented in the respective states as per the guidelines of Central and State Governments. General and OBC candidates have to pay Rs 800, SC/ST/Female candidates Rs 600 and Disabled candidates Rs 400.
Required Qualification for Union Bank
Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 1st August 2024. That means those born between August 2, 1996 and August 1, 2004 are eligible to apply. However, according to the central government, the upper age limit has been relaxed for SC/ST/OBC/PWD etc. categories.
Must have completed graduation from a recognized university or institution by 17 September 2024.
15 thousand stipend per month Candidates should note that Apprenticeship is not a bank job and is not a contract. Apprentices are not considered employees of UBI.
Apprenticeship training is offered for one year. Apprentices are given on-the-job training in banking practices and various subjects. A monthly stipend of 15 thousand rupees is given to apprentices in training. Apprentices are entitled to other allowances and benefits.

Selection process of candidates Union Bank
Candidates will be selected on the basis of online test (objective type), local language knowledge test, medical test, certificate verification.
The online test consists of 4 sections namely General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative and Reasoning Aptitude Computer Knowledge. Each section will have 25 questions of 25 marks and 100 questions will carry 100 marks. Time is 60 minutes.

- Candidates must have e-mail id, mobile number to apply online. UBI provides information about exams, selection and other details through e-mail and SMS.
- Candidates must register on Central Government Apprenticeship portals NAPS, NATS (https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in (for all candidates) and https://nats.education.gov.in (only for candidates who have completed their graduation after 1st April 2020)
- Candidates must remember the Apprentice Portal Login ID and Password. Candidates registered in NAPS, NATS portal should apply for Apprenticeship.
- Candidates registered in NAPS, NATS portal can apply for Apprenticeship.
- Candidates have to click on UBI Apprenticeship Advertisement after login on NAPS Portal – https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/apprenticeship/opportunity and NATS Portal https://nats.education.gov.in/student_type.php.
- All applied candidates should retain their Apprentice Registration Code for future reference.
- All candidates who have applied for Apprenticeship in NAPS, NATS will get district selection and other details from BFSI SSC (naik.ashwini@bfsissc.com) through email.
- Payment must be completed for training, online exam. Examination fee can be paid using Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/UPI.
- After paying the fee, an e-receipt will be sent to the registered e-mail id.
