In order to encourage farmers to collect rain water and utilize it in agriculture, Karnataka Government has implemented Krishi Bhagya Scheme and invited applications from farmers to avail various facilities under this scheme.
Krishi Bhagya Yojana is being implemented in a package model, subsidy is being given for implementation of padu, farm pond, wire fence around the farm pond, polythene cover (Tarpualin) for the farm pond, pump set (Diseal Pumpset) and light irrigation units.

Farmers have to implement all these components compulsorily. Per cent for general category farmers. 80 percent and Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe farmers 100 percent. 90% subsidy is available.
Where to Apply?
Interested farmers are advised to get the application form at the Farmer Contact Centers and submit the application at the Farmer Contact Centers along with the filled application form along with passport size photograph, Pahani, caste certificate copy of bank pass book.
