The Indian Postal Department has declared the Grameen Dak Sevak (GDS) 2024 Results for 12 zones on 20 August today.
Indian Post first merit list has been released for Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Assam, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Telangana.
The results of other sectors will be released soon,” the official release department said. Candidates who have applied for the recruitment drive can check the India Post Office GDS Merit List 2024 at the official website indiapostadsonline.gov.in.
Indian Post GDS Merit List is based on marks obtained in 10th Class / Matriculation from approved Boards. This year, this recruitment drive aims to fill 44228 Gramin Dak Sevak posts in 23 zones of the country.
How to check Indian Post GDS result?
- Step 1. Visit the official website of India Post.
- Step 2. On the home page, click on the ‘GDS Online Engagement Schedule, July-2024: List of Shortlisted Candidates-1’ tab.
- Step 3. Enter password and registration number.
- Step 4. Press the submit button.
- Step 5. The result will appear on the screen.
- Step 6. Download and save for further use.
Documents Required
- 10th Class / SSC / SSLC Original Marksheets
- Caste Certificate (if applicable) — Physically.
- Handicapped Certificate (if applicable)
- 60 days computer based training from a recognized institution.
Selection process
After completion of document verification process, appointment letters will be issued to selected candidates. There are two posts Assistant Branch Postmaster and Branch Postmaster in Gramin Dak Sevak Recruitment. Selected candidates for Assistant Branch Postmaster posts will be paid between Rs.10,000 to Rs.24,470. Branch Postmaster Pay Scale Rs 12,000 to Rs 29,380. 20,000 per month for selected candidates for Chowkidar post.
