Pre-Matric Scholarship for Children of Parents engaged in Unsanitary and Post-Matric Scholarship Program for the year 2024-25, Class 8 students with annual income limit of Rs.6 lakhs and annual income limit of Rs.2.5 lakhs for pre-matric scholarship and post-matric students of class 9-10.

Bio Metric e-Authentication : Students applying under Pre-Matric Scholarship (Class 9 & 10), Pre-Matric Scholarship for children of parents engaged in unsanitary profession and Post-Matric Scholarship program will have to undergo Bio Metric e-Authentication compulsorily.
For the convenience of students, Bio Metric e-Authentication will be provided at the office of Assistant Director of Social Welfare Department and EDCS Civil Service Centers such as Village One, Bangalore One and Karnataka One. This service is free of cost and the student does not have to pay any fee at EDCS Civic Service Centres.
How it credited?
The amount sanctioned under the scholarship/incentive program is directly credited to the student’s Aadhaar linked bank account and linking of the student’s Aadhaar number to the student’s bank account is mandatory for the said process. Incentive Program
10th Class/S. S. L. C. Online applications are invited from Scheduled Caste students who have passed the first class in the annual examination in the first attempt.
Post Matric Incentive Fund 12th Class/P.U.C. Online applications are invited from Scheduled Caste students who have passed in First Attempt, First Class in Polytechnic Diploma, ITI, Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree courses.

Noted :
1. Visit Aadhaar Seva Kendra to ensure their Aadhaar is Active. Updating Aadhaar details and Biometric details.
2. To ensure that the bank account is active and that Aadhaar is seeded with the said bank account.
3. If their Aadhaar is not seeded with the bank account, contact the bank officials regarding this and take steps to link the Aadhaar with the bank account or open an IPPB account at the post office.
4. Aadhaar linking can be confirmed on DBT Karnataka Mobile App. For more information contact the office of the district or taluk level officials of the department, Commissioner Social Welfare Department has issued an announcement.
