Application submission for Vidyasiri Scholarship has started. Interested higher education students can apply for this. This is a scholarship implemented by the government to help the students, students who have joined higher education after matriculation and who do not get hostel facilities will get financial help from the government through this scholarship.
A scholarship of ₹15,000 for a period of 10 months academic year is given to the selected students as per ₹1500 per month per student. A student belonging to SC/ST or OBC category should have cast certificate. 2A, 3A or 3B OBC student but their family annual income should be within 1 lakh. A student belonging to category 1 but whose annual family income should be within 2.50 lakhs. Have studied in our state for about 7 years and should have got more than 75% marks.
Should be studying in a Government, Private or Aided College or Institution under the University of Karnataka. Students will get a facility in this hostel admission, food accommodation scheme. This facility is available only to students doing post matriculation course who have not got admission in residential colleges and government hostels.

How to Apply for Vidyasiri Scholarship through SSP Portal?
- Click on this link https://ssp.postmatric.karnataka.gov.in/ and select the account opening option on the home page.
- Enter your name as per Aadhaar card, select gender, select OTP option, enter captcha code, proceed to application.
- Enter your father’s or mother’s Aadhaar card number, phone number, and proceed. After that, if you submit, you will receive an OTP on your phone.
- After entering the OTP, your ID password will be available for logging in.. Using this ID password, you have to login to the SSP portal, now fill all the information asked about you correctly in the application. Also the required documents should be uploaded. After completing the application submission process, you can also check the application status on the ssp website.
