In the Delhi Assembly elections, following the Congress and AAP announcing several ‘free promises,’ the BJP has also unveiled similar assurances in its manifesto for the people of Delhi.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday unveiled a bouquet of welfare promises as part of its manifesto for the upcoming Delhi assembly elections, pledging ₹2,500 a month to poor women, ₹21,000 one-time aid to pregnant women, LPG cylinders for the poor at ₹500, and ₹2,500 pension for senior citizens.
The party has announced that, if elected to power, it will implement schemes such as providing women ₹2,500 monthly assistance modeled on Karnataka’s Gruhalakshmi scheme, LPG cylinders for ₹500, and a monthly pension of ₹2,500 for senior citizens. BJP National President J.P. Nadda released the first part of the manifesto, titled Sankalp Patra, during a press conference, stating that “the party’s manifesto will lay the foundation for Delhi’s development.
“During the event, Nadda also criticized the AAP, accusing its government of widespread corruption.
