Joint Director of Agriculture Soma sundar said that during the winter season of Pasaktha row, farmers can enter crop survey information through mobile app, and farmers can record crop details in crop survey through mobile app and enter accurate crop information.
Crop survey is being conducted through a mobile app developed by e-governance to get accurate information about the crops grown by the farmers.
Points to follow for getting mobile application
Farmers should download “Farmer App Crop Survey Rabi 2024” app for crop survey hindar season from Google play-store on their mobile.
There are 242520 crop talku in the district and for those talku the farmers have to register their crop information by themselves. Geo Referenced and Digitized in Mobile App.
Since the crop village map has been implemented, the farmers should compulsorily record the details of the crop along with the photograph by going inside the boundary line of the respective taka and getting the GPS accuracy.

Crop survey data information can be used in crop extension enumeration, crop harvesting trials, in case of natural calamities, for preparation of crop damage report, crop insurance scheme, support price scheme.
