Government has introduced the PM Internship Scheme for youth to gave better future in their career.
On Thursday, the program was initiated with the aim of offering financial support. Young men and women undergoing internships in companies will receive 5 thousand rupees per month.
This program aims to offer an annual financial aid of Rs. 66,000. A total of 1.25 lakh individuals, both male and female, will benefit from this initiative. 21 to 24 year old youths will be offered internship for 1 year.
The plan aims to completely change the workforce in India and establish a real working environment. Under this initiative, 500 companies have already partnered with the government.
Eligibility for PM Internship Scheme
The scheme is primarily targeted at economically disadvantaged youth. 21 to 24 year olds are free. Candidates who have completed at least 10th standard or ITI, Diploma, BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA any degree are eligible.
Families with government employees or income tax assessees are not eligible for this scheme. The applications will start through the online portal and the process will start from oct 12th
Application Process PM Internship Scheme
- Visit www.pminternship.mca.gov.in young men and women are allowed to apply from 12th to 25th.
- Fill in your name and apply with necessary documents.
- Eligible candidates will be shortlisted on August 26 after submission of application.
Shortlisting process:
Companies are going to select candidates from 27th to 7th November. The government informed that the selected candidates will get the offer letter from the selected company from November 8 to November 15. Besides, it is not a job. The government has clarified that this is a training workshop (internship).
