Pune-based startup company Wave Mobility is gearing up to introduce an updated version of its solar-powered electric car EVA.The solar car will be unveiled to the public during the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 to be held in New Delhi next month. It is India’s first solar electric car and will be revealed at the Auto Expo 2023.
The company says that the car has been designed keeping in mind the needs of the city. The size of this car is small. So you can park easily even in a small space.
Range and Charging Time:
The company claims that the car can cover up to 250 kilometers on a single charge and can cover up to 3,000 kilometers in a year with the help of a solar panel mounted on the roof.
The car supports ultra-fast charging and offers a driving range of up to 50 km in just five minutes of charging.

- This solar electric car can accelerate from 0 to 40 km in just five seconds.
- It has a speed of up to m and the top speed of this car is 70 kmph.
- Another specialty of this car is that the running cost of this car is also quite low
- It costs only 0.50 paise to drive this car for one kilometer.
