Regions: Kasaragod, Dakshina Kannada, and Udupi districts are expected to experience partly cloudy weather in some areas during the afternoon.
Rainfall Forecast: Light drizzle is possible late at night in Sullia, Kasaragod, Belthangady, Dharmasthala, and Karkala.
North Kannada: Dry weather is expected to continue.
Temperature Trends: As of now, light drizzle is expected in some parts of the foothill regions on January 14. Following this, there may be a slight rise in temperatures.
Malnad Region:
Kodagu is likely to experience light drizzle at night, with moderate rainfall in a few areas.
Light drizzle is also expected in areas around Sakleshpur in Hassan district.
Chikkamagaluru district, including Moodigere, Agumbe, Sringeri, and Kudremukh, may experience moderate rainfall in some places at night.
Shivamogga district is expected to have partly cloudy weather in some areas.
Temperature Trends: Light drizzle and moderate rainfall are forecast for January 14 in some areas of the Malnad region. Post this, rainfall may reduce, but there are no indications of a significant increase in cold conditions.
Interior Karnataka:
North Interior Karnataka: Partly cloudy skies and dry weather are likely to continue.
South Interior Karnataka:
Districts like Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Mandya, Ramanagara, Bengaluru, Kolar, and Chikkaballapur are expected to experience light drizzle in some areas, with chances of moderate rainfall in isolated locations.
Some parts of Chikkaballapur have already witnessed light drizzle in the early hours.
Other regions may witness partly cloudy weather.
Temperature Trends: In South Interior Karnataka, rainfall may decrease from January 14, with a slight increase in temperature expected.
Due to the influence of westerly winds during the evening and night, expected rainfall in the coastal districts may be lower than anticipated.
