Coast: Kasaragod, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts are expected to have sunny weather with scattered light clouds in the afternoon. Chances of rain are low. Uttara Kannada is forecast to rain in a couple of places after noon.

As of now, there are indications that rain will start in coastal districts of Uttara Kannada from today and in Udupi, Dakshina Kannada and Kasaragod districts from November 1.

Malenadu: Kodagu and Hassan districts are forecast to have sunny weather and scattered clouds in the afternoon. Chikkamagaluru and Shimoga districts are expected to have scattered general rain in the afternoon and evening.

As of now, there are indications that rain will start in Shimoga and Chikkamagaluru districts from today and in Hassan and Kodagu parts from October 31.

Inland: Scattered showers are forecast in the north inland districts of Haveri and Davangere in the afternoon and evening. Normal rain is forecast in a couple of parts of Bengaluru North and Tumkur district in southern hinterland, while there is a forecast of drizzle in a couple of parts of Chitradurga and Chikkaballapur.

As of now, there are indications that rain will start in coastal districts of Uttara Kannada from today and in Udupi, Dakshina Kannada and Kasaragod districts from November 1.

If the current rains are due to the influence of Arabian Sea winds in Uttara Kannada and Shimoga districts, there may be monsoons in the interior.
