Due to cold wind blowing in many districts in the state from today, the amount of cold will increase drastically. The Meteorological Department has said that cold winds will blow in the state for the next three days and the minimum temperature will also drop.
Bidar, Bijapur and Gulbarga districts in north interior will remain 6-7 degrees Celsius below normal for the next 3 days.
And Yadgiri, Raichur and Bagalkote districts will see a drop of 4-5 degrees Celsius below normal. Then there will be a gradual increase in the minimum temperature in the northern hinterland.The minimum temperature will drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius from normal for the next 3 days.
It has predicted no major change in the minimum temperature of coastal Karnataka. Mainly dry weather is likely over interior Karnataka during the next 24 hours.
