Government of Karnataka has launched Yashasvini Health Insurance Scheme Registration 2025. The government will issue ID cards to the members registered under the scheme from March 1. Members of any Co-operative Societies/ Banks or Co-operative Self-Help Groups operating in the State can also register.
The government has issued an order for the registration of Yashasvini Arogya Vima Yojana in the year 2025. issued guidelines. Those earning more than Rs 30 thousand per month in private company or other organizations are not eligible for Yashasvini Arogya Yojana registration.
Enrollment under Yashasvani Yojana is allowed with some new conditions. Registration can be done from December 1 to 31.
- The treatment period is scheduled from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026. Those who have registered now will be issued identity cards with a unique ID number from March 1.
- From April 1, 2025, beneficiaries can avail cashless treatments at network hospitals.
- Under the Karnataka Co-operative Societies Act, those who have completed at least 3 years of service in active co-operative societies and are earning monthly salary of less than 30 thousand and their eligible family members are eligible for registration.
- A total of 2128 treatments including 1650 different treatments identified by the Trust and 478 ICU treatments have been implemented under Yashavini Yojana currently. The said treatment facilities will be provided to the patients in the registered Sareshree network hospitals in the state
- Yashasvani Yojana service is not available in hospitals other than network hospitals. Before getting treatment under Yashasvini Yojana the beneficiary has to ensure that the hospital is covered by the scheme and then get the treatment.
Yashashani Trust shall not be liable for any treatment not covered under the scheme and any treatment received at hospitals not approved by the Trust and for any reason neither the Hospitals nor the Beneficiaries.
Only two live children or two births are eligible under Yashasvini Yojana.
Yashasvini beneficiaries are eligible for treatment in General Ward only as per Yashasvini Yojana protocol.
In case, instead of the General Ward prescribed under the scheme, they want to get treatment in a higher (Semi Special Ward or Special Ward), the said beneficiary will be covered only the cost of treatment applicable to the General Ward as prescribed under the scheme.
A maximum limit of Rs.200 (for a period of three months) for out-patient treatment (OPD) for Yashasvini members in network hospitals, of which Rs.100 will be paid by Yashasvini Trust.
Guidelines for Registration of Members, List of Yashasvini Network Hospitals, List will also be uploaded on Cooperative Sindhu website of Department of Surgeries/Trust website.
Member must provide Mobile Number and Aadhaar Card. To inform about the guidelines of the Yashasvini scheme, the Joint Organizers of the Co-operative Societies of the respective Provinces, Departmental Officers, District Co-operative Banks,It has been suggested to hold a meeting of the Chief Executive Officers of the Federations of Milk Producers’ Associations and other leading cooperative societies/organizations at the provincial level.
