The Gruhalakshmi Scheme is one of the most popular government initiatives in Karnataka, particularly favored by women. Introduced by the Congress party, this scheme ensures a monthly financial transfer of ₹2000 to women beneficiaries’ bank accounts.
This initiative has gained immense popularity in the state, providing significant support to women. So far, beneficiaries have received around 15 installments, amounting to ₹30,000 under this scheme. Understandably, many women are eagerly waiting for the 15th and 16th installments. Here’s some good news for them!
16th Installment Released
The 16th installment of the Gruhalakshmi Scheme has already been released and will be credited to beneficiaries’ accounts within the next 8 days, by the 31st of this month. Women who haven’t yet received the 15th installment will receive both the 15th and 16th installments together, totaling ₹4000.
Pending Installments Information
For those whose accounts still show pending installments, they can expect the amount to be credited within the stipulated 8-day period. If there are any issues or delays, the concerned beneficiaries are advised to check their eligibility and ensure their application details are updated.
Steps to Claim Pending Installments
- If you have pending payments for 5 or 6 installments, follow these steps:
- Complete E-KYC for Your Gruhalakshmi Application: Ensure your ration card and Aadhaar card details are linked and updated.
- Aadhaar Seeding with Bank Account: Beneficiaries must link their Aadhaar card with their bank account.
Update Aadhaar Details: If your Aadhaar card was issued more than 10 years ago, update it with your latest information.
